Hannah has a lot to worry about. Then again, so do we all.
In a world full of genuine worries, which anxiety gets to sit in the front seat?
Nearly six years after Nanette propelled them to international stardom, Hannah is learning how to process the world, with all its catastrophes and hypocrisies, from a new perspective and they’re ready to talk about it. From the irrelevant to the existential, Hannah took their worries on the road and their destination is Woof!
Reviews for Woof!…
‘It’s singular, deeply funny stuff, elevated as always by Gadsby’s bemused eye for an odd detail and exquisite phrase-turning.’ The Sydney Morning Herald, 2024
‘If anyone can find new ways to refuse to do what is expected, it’s them.’ The Guardian, 2024
‘Perfection in action. A true comic genius with top-notch timing’ ★★★★★ The Age, 2024
WHY SEE HANNAH GADSBY?
HANNAH GADSBY ON TOUR!
Emmy-Award winner Hannah Gadsby is a name you should probably know, or if you don’t you will soon enough! Hannah Gadsby took the comedy world by storm with her Award-winning show entitled Nanette. A sold-out Edinburgh Fringe run and multiple Netflix specials later, Hannah Gadsby returns to the road for a North American tour following her fourth special with Netflix from 2024, the Gender Agenda, which united gender queer comedians from around the world.
Debuting at the 2017 Edinburgh Fringe Festival critics dubbed Gadsby’s Nanette a game-changer, overturning the conventions of comedy and bringing a new style and voice into a somewhat overcrowded market. Openly talking about gender, equality, anger, homophobia and art Nanette was supposed to be Gadsby’s final farewell to stand-up, luckily for us, it seems she has now overturned this statement (phew!).
A name that you’re sure to be hearing more of in the future, don’t miss your chance to see Hannah Gadsby live!
