La Casita is, for many, the best Mexican restaurant in Vancouver and that’s due to many factors. You don’t need to travel to Mexico to taste its true flavor, they bring you the Mexican flavor. Take the opportunity to enjoy the best authentic Mexican food north of the Rio Grande.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

On top of that, the quality of their food lies in the love and care invested during their preparation, in addition to their drinks and customer service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How they started<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The original La Casita was opened by Armando\u00b4s Mom in 1990, in small coastal city Powell River, BC. She created a memorable setting and drew a big following by serving delicious, hand made food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

By 1995, she was ready to pass the business on. Armando re-opened the restaurant, added more dining space, and acquired a liquor license. It grew progressively over the years, but in 2002 it really took off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2004, it was time for a new challenge\u2026 La Casita Gastown opened its doors! Well, the city did bring many new challenges. Yet, They have managed to keep going strong through it all thanks to their amazing customers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Armando has since joined the proprietary team and has been a great addition with his vast knowledge of mexican cuisine and top level service experience. He is from Guanajuato Mexico which is known for vegetable production and thus has instilled and element of healthy freshness in his cooking flare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

From Monday to Friday you can enjoy the fixed daily special and day-by-day specials.
